My Cultural Radar
Hi, today I'm going to tal about My Cultural Radar
Now my cultural snapshot have the following items:
PODCAST: "DESPERTANDO PODCAST"
I didn't listen to podcasts, but during the pandemic I started listening to "Despertando Podcast" and I fully recommend it to start the day with some reflection.
MOVIE: MEMORIA INFINITA
BOOK: DE AMOR NADIE SE MUERE, DAVID MONTOYA
It was my first book I read during a breakup, and it saved my life. It made me see that I would not die of sadness and that no one dies from that, that all love relationships are stages of life and that there are many people to meet,
ANIME: ONE PIECE
I started watching it one day with my mom and it's very funny. I recommend it to everyone although it is a bit long but it is worth it. The series tells the story of Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who obtained elastic powers by eating a Devil Fruit and who, inspired by his pirate friend Shanks, begins a journey to achieve his dream, to be the King of the Pirates.
BUILDING: 54 HOUSING IN INCA
They are self-sufficient homes that have a vertical core of vegetation that helps the temperature of the home and they are also made with recycled materials. They are incredible.
ARCHITECTURE: LINA BO BARDI
Lina Bo Bardi was one of the first architects I met when I started studying architecture. Her story as a woman, the impact and approach she has had is impressive. Bo Bardi claimed humanist, ecological constructions and accessible to all public.
She said architecture is created, reinvented for each man wo wlaks in it, who walks throught it space , climbing the stairs, lifting his head to smell, opening or closing door, sitting down or getting up at have intimate contact and at the same time creative forms in space. This intimate, fiery comtact, wich was once perceived by man, is now forgotten.
See you!
xoxo
