An Interesting Trip
When i was little, with my mother Jazmín and my sister Nathaly, we traveled to Calama, Chile, because every summer we go to visit my mother's family, but this time we wanted to go to San Pedro de Atacama. So we had to take a plane, but the airline changed the flight time, so we had to wait 4 hours at the airport until we finally got on the plane an took of. The flight was horrible, because we had turbulence and i panic and want to vomit, so it was very hard.
When we arrived in Calama, my grandfather picked us up at the airport and we were supposed to go to San Pedro that day, but since the flight was delayed, we lost many hours, so we decided to leave it for the next day. The next day we woke up early around 7 am and we started the trip. We carried food, juice, everything just in case.
The trip was a bit dull because you go through the desert so there aren't many things to see, but with good music, everything is better. When we arrived, the first thing we did was go to see the square and the crafts there. We walked a lot and ate too much. The people there are very friendly and always help you if you are lost. It is a bit expensive, but because everything that sold is handmade.
We were there all day and when de sunset began, we returned to Calama. And the rest of the day, we spend the rest of the summer in Calama visiting other places like Chiu-Chiu, Laguna Inca Coya, etc.
See you soon!

ResponderEliminarOnce in my life I would like to do a trip to north of Chile and enjoy it until get bored.
ResponderEliminarI have been to San Pedro 3 times. It´s a great place. The first time in 1997 was the best. It was still a little village which only had electricity from 6am to 10pm:)
